Welcome to Safa Chatsworth F.A                                Web Site

Football was first played in 1965 in this community.  After 1990, four different Associations viz. The Chatsworth Football Association, the Shallcross Football Association, Durban County and Districts and the Kharwastan Umhlatuzana Woodhurst Association merged to form the Chatsworth and Districts Football Association (CADFA) in 1991.  The Chatsworth and Districts Football Association is a member of the SAFA Southern Kwazulu Natal Football region. In 2006 the new SAFA demarcations was passed through to its regions.  According to the new structure SAFA National has 53 regions.  The Kwazulu Natal Province has 11 regions.  SAFA Kwazulu Natal has now been divided into 3 regions ie.  SAFA eThekwini, SAFA iLembe @ SAFA uGu.   In view of the demarcation process all district associations were asked to conduct the dissolution process.   On 10th May 2006 the Chatworth and Districts Football Association dissolved to form the newly constituted SAFA Chatsworth Football Association which will be affiliated to the SAFA eThekwini Region.
